On 10th May 2022, Bhalswa Landfill in Ghazipur Area, Delhi, was razed by a massive fire. Toxic fumes from the landfill started to fill the area. The garbage collectors and the people living in and around the area of landfill still continued their work as it is the only source of income for them. They earn by selling the waste they collect.
